How does Personal Training work?
The journey starts at the consultation. We will sit down for roughly an hour and take a deep dive into your past training history, your lifestyle and what exactly your expectations are from personal training.
During the consultation we will also perform a movement screening to identify your personal strengths and limitations.
2. SET AN INITIAL PLAN
Following the consultation we will agree on a plan of action that we both believe is achievable, sustainable and effective.
We will look to find a plan that would be suitable for your lifestyle but also gets you the desired outcome you're expecting.
This is the simplest part of the process, just execute on what we previously agreed.
There is much more to it than turning up to your workouts and saying 'see you next time' though. You'll have continual guidance with nutrition and any additional help or resources you may need will be provided.
4. ASSESS AND ADJUST
This is where a personal trainer becomes invaluable.
We can begin to assess which areas are going well, and which are seemingly holding you back.
The relevant adjustments can then be made in order to ensure that you are progressing at a rate that we both deem satisfactory.
